Porsche Canada unveiled five new 2-door sports cars at the 2018 Canadian International AutoShow: the 718 Boxster GTS, 718 Cayman GTS, 911 Carrera T, 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series and the ultimate 911, the GT2 RS. On hand for the unveilings were Porsche Canada’s new President and CEO Marc Ouayoun, and Patrick Saint-Pierre, Porsche Canada’s Manager of Public Relations.

Combined, the five unveiled cars generate more than 2,400 horsepower and have a combined MSRP of just under one million dollars.

The rear-wheel drive 718 Cayman GTS and 718 Boxster GTS receive an upgraded 2.5-litre turbocharged flat 4 cylinder engines. A six-speed manual transmission is standard equipment in both cars. The 911 Carrera T, harkens back to the 1968 original, both in terms of style and structure. The Carrera T is lighter, has a manual transmission and comes with a shorter transaxle ratio and a mechanical rear differential lock. The 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is the most powerful and exclusive 911 Turbo S ever. All 500 units of this limited-edition model are being finished by hand in the new Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur at the headquarters in Zuffenhausen. The 911 GT2 RS is the most powerful 911 that Porsche has ever built and the beneficiary of decades of motorsport success.
