To emphasis the tie between motorsports and their road going cars, Mercedes-AMG have created a short video demonstrating the performance and yet practicality of their latest creation, the 4 door sedan which is based on the 2 door GT coupe. The main location for the film was the Costa del Sol in the south of Spain. The racetrack scenes were shot at the private Circuito Ascari near Ronda and in Marbella.
The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe is the first 4-door sports car from Affalterbach and draws on the SLS and AMG GT models. As another car developed autonomously by Mercedes-AMG, it combines unique design, comfort and sports car engineering with an athletic, four-door fastback layout. The GT 4-Door Coupes are powered inline 6-cylinder or V8 engines with outputs ranging from 435 hp to 639 hp and can reach speeds of up to 315 km/h.
