Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series Concept Debuts at Monterey Car Week

Lexus will mark its 21st year as a sponsor of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance with the introduction of the LC Inspiration Series Concept. This is the second vehicle in Lexus’ Inspiration Series and has a Flare Yellow exterior, 21” forged alloy wheels, carbon fiber roof and an active rear spoiler.

The interior of the LC Inspiration Series also gets several unique design elements including yellow Alcantara door inserts and touring seats featuring semi-aniline leather with yellow stitching. That same stitching is also used on the instrument panel, console and glovebox to give the entire cabin a one-of-a-kind look.

The LC Inspiration Series concept is based on the LC 500 and is powered by a 5.0 liter 471-horsepower V8 engine that sends its power to the rear wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission. It is capable of 0-60 times of 4.4 seconds and can deliver up to 25 mpg on the highway.

Monterey Car Week takes place each year in the Monterey County in California and runs from August 18 through August 26. Also on display will be the Lexus UX 250h Concept.
