Cadillac debuted the DPi-V.R race car in Canada at the 2018 Canadian International AutoShow. The DPi-V.R races in the prototype class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship series, which is the fastest and most technologically advanced sports car racing series in North America. The No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Konica Minolta Cadillac DPi-V.R is driven by Jordan Taylor, from Orlando, Florida, and by Renger van der Zande, from Dodewaard, Netherlands.
“Racing is in our DNA,” said Hoss Hassani, Managing Director, Cadillac Canada. “Cadillac’s V-Performance production models – the ATS-V and CTS-V – are transforming our brand’s product substance, earning a place among the world’s elite high performance marques. The Cadillac DPi-V.R further strengthens our V-Performance portfolio, placing Cadillac into the premier series of sports car racing in North America.”

Race fans can see the Cadillac DPi-V.R in action this summer at the Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix, which takes place July 5-8 just north of Bowmanville, Ontario at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (the race track formerly known as Mosport).
