The driver can toggle the traction control settings on the FXX K between zero (off) up to four, which is the maximum. Taylor prefers to keep it at 1 or 2, never zero. Conrad Grunewald, a professional Formula Drift driver and FXX K driver coach, drives his clients FXX K at zero and likes to get the $3.3 million car sideways on the track. “I told Conrad you drive that car like you own it,” said Taylor. “You better be careful or you may be making payments for the rest of your life.”
What’s it like on the track? “It puts a big smile on your face,” said Taylor. “It’s a lot of fun to drive. It’s an easy car to drive. It lays down a lot of power.”
This is the most extreme Ferrari available to the “general” public. These owners are far from general. Ferrari plans to produce an even more extreme version of the car next year, the Ferrari LaFerrari EVO (or Evolution).
We asked Taylor what his top speed was today. “I looked at it (the speedometer) once, I think I was doing around 280 km/h or so.”

Marc Muzzo
Marc Muzzo’s No. 13 Ferrari 488 Challenge
Marc’s current “daily driver” is a beautiful red Ferrari LaFerrari which he parked in the parking lot like every other “normal” car. “I like driving my cars,” said Muzzo. ”It kills me to see them sit.” His LaFerrari daily driver costs more than $1.5 million.
Marc set the fastest lap in qualifying and won the first race. He finished up on the podium in third place in the second race. Not only is Muzzo very friendly, good looking and wealthy, he is also very fast.

If the Ferrari Challenge North America comes to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park again next summer, it is a must attend event for all Ferrari fans and enthusiasts. It is the best kind of sensory overload: an abundance of sights, sounds and personalities worthy being there to experience in person.
The next Ferrari Challenge race weekend takes place at August 11-13 at the Road America race track near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
