The third generation Lexus IS was launched in 2023. It has received a few mid-cycle refreshes over the past decade. It is one of the few remaining new cars powered by a naturally aspirated V8 engine. In this case, it is a 5 litre power plant generating 472 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration from 0-to-60 mpg takes 4.4 seconds and sounds great doing it.
