The 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia is making its North American debut at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show which runs from November 22 to December 1 at the LA Convention Center. The 2020 Giulia receives a host of all-new standard and available upgrades to the interior and exterior. New interior updates enhance key driver touchpoints, including an all-new center console, all-new leather-wrapped shifter, knurled aluminum-look rotary dial, upgraded steering wheel design, phone stowage area with available wireless charging, and laminated front glass for improved cabin ambience.
Also new is a standard, 8.8-inch touchscreen display with improved graphics, faster processor, driver-configurable interactive widgets, and Performance Pages, combined with now-standard SiriusXM Radio.

New available Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) Package features level II autonomous driving capability with Highway Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, Active Lane Keep Assist, Active Lane Departure Warning, Active Blind Spot Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Drowsy Driver Detection, and navigation providing an optimized balance between driver and machine.

A new premium leather-wrapped shifter and a race-inspired steering wheel for all Giulia models feature Alfa Romeo’s characteristic steering wheel-mounted push-button start as well as refined materials. Standard laminated glass helps improve cabin ambience and the overall driving experience.

The standard 7-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) instrument cluster screen is redesigned to offer more information in an easy-to-read format with a new layout and improved graphics designed to incorporate Advance Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and level II autonomous driving functions. The system also includes updated vehicle information pages providing real-time data that puts the driver at the center.

Also new for 2020 is a host of standard and available connectivity features including: Wi-Fi Hotspot, Mobile App with Remote Operations, SOS Call (Private) and Roadside Assistance, Vehicle Finder, Stolen Vehicle Locator and Assistance, as well as select Firmware Over the Air (OTA) updates (some functionality late availability).

The Giulia is equipped with a 2.0 litre inline turbocharged 4 cylinder generating 280 horsepower and 306 lb.-ft. of torque. Power is sent to all-four wheels via Q4 all-wheel drive system and an 8 speed automatic transmission. Acceleration runs from 0-60 mph take 5.1 seconds on to a top speed of 149 mph. As the “halo” model in the lineup, the Giulia Quadrifoglio highlights Alfa Romeo’s motorsports expertise with its best-in-class, 505-horsepower, 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, Alfa Romeo’s most powerful production engine ever. 0-60 mph sprints take just 3.8 seconds. The Quadrifoglio set a Nürburgring record lap time of 7:32, the fastest ever by a five-passenger production sedan.

The 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia has a U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $39,345 (excluding $1,295 destination) and 2020 Giulia Quadrifoglio starts at $74,445 (excluding $1,595 destination). New metallic exterior color options including Anodized Blue, Lunare White and Verde Visconti. The new 2020 Giulia will begin arriving in North American showrooms before the end of the calendar year. The award winning Giulia is crafted by Alfa Romeo artisans at the Cassino plant in Italy.
