Subaru of America revealed the 2019 WRX and WRX STI Series.Gray models to Subaru enthusiasts at the 2018 Subaru Tecnica International Boxerfest in Washington, D.C. The special edition Series.Gray models are limited to just 250 WRX STIs and 750 WRXs. The exteriors are painted in Cool Gray Khaki and come with exclusive Crystal Black Silica badging and foldable exterior mirrors as well as black 18-inch alloy wheels.

The Series.Gray WRX is based on the WRX Premium that includes the Performance Package with Ultrasuede Recaro seats, 8-way power driver’s seat, JURID front brake pads and moonroof delete. It also adds LED Steering Responsive Headlights, LED fog lights and Keyless Access with Push-Button Start and is only available with the 6-speed manual transmission. The WRX Series.Gray is priced at $32,595 in the United States.

The WRX STI Series.Gray also comes with Cool Gray Khaki exterior, exclusive Crystal Black Silica badging and foldable exterior mirrors but has 19-inch black alloy wheels. The Brembo brake calipers are finished in silver with black STI logos. The interior features black Ultrasuede with Carbon Black Leather bolster and Ultrasuede steering wheel with red stitching.

The Series.Gray WRX STI has upgraded with a unique Bilstein STI sport-tuned suspension with Bilstein dampers for the inverted-strut front suspension and double wishbone rear suspension. The limited edition also includes Recaro seats with 8-way power driver’s seat and Keyless Access with Push-Button Start. The WRX STI Series.Gray is priced at $39,695 in the US.

Boxerfest is the largest Subaru festival in the Mid-Atlantic area. The annual event hosts thousands of Subaru enthusiasts and their vehicles. It is a day of fun with activities that include autocross, car show, vendor stands and display cars from Subaru of America’s vintage collection.
