The car going to the Canadian buyer is a Huracan Performante which pays homage to Lamborghini’s GT3 victory in the 2018 Rolex 24 at Daytona race. The car has the same Verde Mantis color as the winning No. 11 Huracan GT3 that won its class in the grueling twice around the clock endurance race.
In 2017 Lamborghini achieved a record year with 3,815 cars delivered to customers worldwide, including 2,642 Huracans leaving the factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese. That is an increase of twelve percent over 2016 Huracan deliveries.
The Performante is 40 kg lighter than the standard Huracan and is equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.2 litre V10 engine which generates 640 hp. It can acceleration 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of more than 325 km/h. The Huracán Performante is the result of Lamborghini innovations, producing a supercar which can achieve the best lap times on a race track with the most engaging and dynamic drive on the road. On 5 October 2016, the Huracán Performante set a new production car lap record of 6:52.01 min on the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany.
